Greenwich DPW To Host Public Meetings for Input about Traffic & Pedestrian Safety

The Town of Greenwich Department of Public Works (DPW) – in conjunction with the Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Taskforce – is hosting a series of neighborhood-specific meetings for feedback on traffic and pedestrian safety.

To accommodate the public and effectively collect community feedback throughout town, there will be 5 neighborhood-based hybrid night meetings and an additional daytime meeting that will encompass all areas of town.

The first meeting in this series will focus on the Old Greenwich and Riverside neighborhoods on March 18 at 6:00pm in the Town Hall Meeting Room.

Meeting Schedule:

  • 3/18/24 – Old Greenwich and Riverside (RTM districts 5, 6, and 12)
  • 4/10/24 – Cos Cob (RTM districts 2 and 8)
  • 4/25/24 – Central Greenwich (RTM districts 1 and 7)
  • 4/29/24 – Byram, Chickahominy, Glenville, and Pemberwick (RTM districts 3, 4, and 9)
  • 5/1/24 – Town-wide (all RTM districts)
  • 5/16/24 – Backcountry (RTM districts 10, and 11)

Comprised of Greenwich DPW, Police, Fire, Planning & Zoning, and Parking Services, the Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Taskforce aims to improve roadway safety in Town.
