GPD: Trio from Bronx Face Organized Retail Theft Charges after Shoplifting at Two CVS Locations

Three people from the Bronx were arrested on Thursday afternoon after multiple Greenwich Police units were dispatched to CVS in Cos Cob on a report of a shoplifting incident that had just occurred. Police say that CCTV footage provided by CVS Asset Protection revealed that two people stole $885.88 worth of hygiene products before getting in a black sedan operated by one of the suspects, Frederick Quintana, 60. A second shoplifting incident was reported by CVS in Old Greenwich describing similar events and the same people and black sedan. In Old Greenwich the suspects were reported to have stolen $2,191.99 worth of hygiene products. Their vehicle was stopped by Greenwich Police in the area of Sound Beach Avenue and Station Drive. The three suspects in the vehicle included Mr. Quintana and Nicole Angele Rivera, 36 and Anthony C Jimenez, 45. Quintana was charged with Conspiracy to Commit/Organized Retail Theft under $10,000 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3. He was able to post his $5,000 bond and was released. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on August 30, 2024. Ms Rivera was charged with Organized Retail Theft under $10,000, Conspiracy to Commit/Organized Retail Theft under $10,000, Larceny 3 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3. Her bond was set at $50,000, which she was unable to post. She was placed in GPD cell block #9. She shares the date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 30, 2024. Mr. Jimenez was charged with Organized Retail Theft less than $10,00, Conspiracy to Commit Organized Retail Theft under $10,000, Larceny 3 and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3. His bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post. He was placed in GPD cell block #3.
