A Port Chester, NY man with an outstanding warrant surrendered to Greenwich Police on Sept 5.
Police said the warrant stemmed from an incident on Sawmill Lane on June 2 in which the arrestee, Ryan A Roberto, 44, working as a contractor, took deposit money for a home improvement contract and neither ordered supplies nor started the job.
Mr. Roberto was charged with Violation Home Improvement Contract Requirements, Failure to Pay/Refund Greater than $10,000 and Larceny 1 Greater than $20,000.
Roberto was able to post the minimum 7% required of his $10,000 bond and was released. He is due in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 27, 2024.
